I am currently on a bike machine at my Physical Therapy appointment. I have two sessions left including today and I just hope that I have healed enough to hike and walk around towns and cities in Guatemala/Chile.
Oh yeah, 4 days till we leave on Saturday ;)

Early Fall Morning
I was walking my Dog in the morning before work last week and I saw a plain old pile of leaves. I took an extra second to look closer to find an interesting vantage point for a picture. Below is what I captured and then lightly edited in Camera+ on my iPhone. Not just a plain old pile of leaves anymore, huh?

Maternity Shoot
Jake and Tatiana Peterson are good friends of ours that are 6 1/2 months pregnant with their first child, Sarah. They were looking to get some maternity pictures and so I jumped at the opportunity to try shooting some of the ideas that Katrina and I had seen or had come up with ourselves. They invited us over for dinner on 11/14 and then we began taking pictures. It was a fun shoot with plenty of laughs, a big thank you to the Peterson's for letting us share in this sweet time in their lives.
Below are some of our favorite shots...

We wanted some pictures of them as they would normally interact so here is a collage of that series which would make a great large print.

New IPhones
Katrina and I have updated to IPhones! They will be great additions to our trip (as long as we keep them safe and away from thieves). We are excited about the iPhone 4s' 8 megapixel camera and the ability to record video. I am looking to get some photo editing programs for mine and am leaning towards Photo Forge 2. Any suggestions?

Peter and Diana Sears Wedding 10/15/11
My best friend Peter got married to Diana on October 15th. It was such a great day and so amazing to see both of them so happy. I was the second photographer taking mainly candid photos but once the reception started, the main photographer was experiencing some technical issues and asked that I shoot the reception. I gladly jumped at the opportunity! Here are my favorite pictures of the day.
Please note that my wife and assistant, Katrina helped take some of the pictures that I had to be in as I was one of 2 best men.
If you click on the first picture, it will open them up in a viewer to see them in full size and high definition. The only set back is that it doesn't show the captions.
