Water Droplets

So due to my broken and sprained ankle, I have not been able to move around as much as I would like during the past 3 and a half weeks.  I was beginning to get frustrated that I couldn't do much with my photography since for the first 2 weeks I really couldn't put much weight or stand at all on my right foot.  But then I remembered that there was a project that I really wanted to try out that I could do at home.  So I got myself up from the couch and walked over to the kitchen sink, grabbing my camera, tripod, and speedlight along the way.

Below are the best pictures that came out of this shoot.  If I say so myself, they came out pretty good for my first attempt at this.

Water Flower

Caterpillar in blue

Mirrored Crown - my favorite of the series

- Another of my favorites -
Ripples

So I tried something different on the editing here and really liked the golden/dark look and feel of the shot

Pete and Diana - Central Park, NY

My best friend and his girlfriend got engaged on July 8th this year and the next day, they accompanied my wife and I on a weekend getaway to New York City.

On Sunday, before we headed back home, we stopped at Central Park and took some pictures of them as a newly engaged couple :)

Pawtuxet Village, RI

This town is creating a calendar for next year and had an open invitation for anyone to submit pictures of the town.  The prize is a free calendar if your picture gets chosen, but I really just liked having a project :)

Here are some of the pictures that I took...

I love this effect and how this picture came out!

Truscott Wedding

My good friends Anna and Stuart Truscott were married on 7/28/2011.  They asked me to take pictures for them and here are some of my favorites...
